Being an Empath
There are several ways in which we can experience being an empath.
A physical empath can experience feeling other physical pain. So, all of a sudden you are feeling some pain in your shoulder and a friend comes over to visit and expresses that they have had shoulder pain for a couple of days now.
A spiritual empath can experience either seeing other spirits or can feel something is amiss. A spiritual empath can recognize if someone is being untruthful even though the person can present as being truthful. A spiritual empath can experience a knowing or being aware of another’s gifts or insights.
An emotional empath can pick up another’s emotions. The person may be smiling but you are aware of the anger within. You suddenly feel anxious in a room full of people even though there really is nothing to be anxious about.
A mental empath can be working on something, let’s say a paper, and suddenly as they are about to hand the paper they have been working on they realize that they should have added something else to the report. A relative is speaking to you about how wonderful they feel you are, but you know that really in their head they are thinking the opposite or, even as I have experienced, someone is saying come here all is well, but in my mind I know that in their mind they have other thoughts going on.
I experience all these forms of being an empath. An important aspect of being an empath is to take care of yourself. Some suggestions may be to wear crystals for protection and balance. Some of these are amethyst, tiger eye, clear quartz, rose quartz, obsidian, smoky quartz or hematite. These are just a few. Take baths with Epsom salt and meditation is of course a great way to calm and balance one’s energy. I will write further on the subject matter on this blog as it seems to be something that needs further attention lately.
In peace, Rho
